There are multiple methods to book a meeting room and use the Teams door panels:
Walk-In
Mobile QR Code
Outlook + Room Finder
PLEASE NOTE: BUSINESS SUPPORT CANNOT BOOK MEETINGS ON YOUR BEHALF.
YOU NEED TO BOOK A MEETING IN YOUR CALENDAR, AND INVITE THE ROOM IN.
Walk-In
If the room is available, press Reserve. And the start time is set.
Choose an end time to determine how long you're booking it for.
Press Manage to increase time required or to finish your booking by pressing Check Out.
It is best practice to end your booking when you no longer need the room.
Mobile QR
PLEASE NOTE: YOU NEED THE TEAMS APP INSTALLED ON YOUR MOBILE FOR THIS TO WORK.
You can use your mobile to scan the QR and add the meeting room to your existing meeting, or to create a new meeting with that specific room.
The example in the video is to add the chosen meeting room to an existing meeting in the calendar.
It is best practice to end your booking when you no longer need the room.
Outlook + Room Finder
Create a meeting in Outlook as you normally would in your calendar, ensuring the correct time has been set. Then click 'Room Finder'.
This will open a panel on the right-hand side.
Ensure the correct Building is selected, (if the dropdown appears empty, start typing the name of the office).
The list below shows all the meeting rooms available for the time you have set the meeting. Select an available room then hit 'Send'.
After a minute or two has passed, your meeting will appear on the meeting room panel.
Please Note: The title / description of the meeting will not show, only the organiser of the meeting's name.
