Cherry Mouse/Keyboard - disable or reconfigure buttons

How do I turn off (disable) the side buttons on the mouse, or remap the buttons on the mouse or keyboard to do something else?

Below example is to disable the front/back buttons on the mouse. You can follow this process to remap the other buttons too.

First install the Cherry Keys app from Company Portal

Once installed, launch the app and select the mouse icon on the right, then select each button to disable. And then confirm Disable.
