How do I check for Windows Updates and check for Optional Updates?

Step 1: Open Windows Settings/Navigate to Windows Update

1. Press the Start button and type ‘Updates’ and select ‘Check for updates’ to open Settings > Windows Updates.

Step 2: Check for Updates

1. On the Windows Update page, click Check for updates.
2. Windows will search for available updates and install them automatically if found.
3. If updates are available, you may need to restart your device after installation.

Step 3: Check for Optional Updates

1. On the same Windows Update page, look for Advanced options and click it.
2. Scroll down to Optional updates.
3. Click Optional updates to view available driver updates or feature updates.
4. Select all the updates to install and click Download and install.
